Sunshine Crafts is an exceptional eco-friendly enterprise that proudly operates under the auspices of a Kurdish women's collective.
Infused with artistry and care, all our toys are exclusively handcrafted by the talented artisans of The Nefel Women's Collective. These skilled Kurdish women adeptly employ various crochet techniques and designs, utilizing natural materials to bring each toy to life.
Founded in 2020 in the vibrant city of Amed/Diyarbakir, the Nefel Women's Collective embarked on its journey with just eight women. Since then, it has blossomed into an awe-inspiring team of 105 dedicated artisans who persistently create beloved toys. Every meticulously crafted toy serves as a testament to the love and dedication invested, and each purchase extends hope and support to the remarkable women of the Collective.
Our toys are fashioned from sumptuous velvet or meticulously crafted with utmost attention to detail using 100% cotton. Furthermore, knitted strings filled with fiber add to their charm. Being washable, our toys are designed to provide convenience and longevity. Please note that slight size variations may occur as a result of the handmade nature of our toys.
